IECI is excited to share that November has been an extremely eventful month in the way of projects. We are happy to say we will be submitting a strong project to the Town of Whitestown. Immediately following this deadline will be two more projects filed right before the holidays, in both Whitestown and Brownsburg, setting up IEC for a strong finish to the 2017 year. IECI is looking forward to many smaller jobs that are presenting themselves for the near future. IECI will most likely be working not only in Whitestown and Brownsburg, but possibly Avon, Plainfield, Lebanon and Greenwood as well. These projects are being set up for proposal; stay tuned for further details.

Under Construction is the name of the game for Innovative Engineering this month as we have 5 projects heading in and out of this phase! In Avon, the Harvest Parking Lot Expansion is now complete with a very pleased client who has future projects in mind for IECI to be involved in. Down the street from this site is the Andy Mohr Nissan Expansion, which is now under construction. To continue the theme closer to home, the Perry Industrial Park Lots 5 and 6 are also under construction, while in Westfield the Lancashire Project has entered into the construction planning phase. Exciting times are ahead for IECI!  

Plans are underway in the IECI department. The Nissan Expansion project has begun construction in the Town of Avon, as well as the Harvest Parking lot Expansion. Dirt is moving and all is going according to plan. Meanwhile, the designs for the City of Westfield are nearing completion. Lancashire at Oak manor has achieved zoning approval, and approvals for Harmony 5 are well underway. Closer to home, the Town of Whitestown is upon completion for resolving the parking shortage at Watermark. At Whitestown Crossing prospects continue to soar as interested parties come in for our lot. IECI is excited to announce that the Harmony Section 5 project has taken off and is ready for submittal to the City of Westfield. There has been a considerable amount of work to get the project to this point, and we look forward to the continuing development sections of Harmony, which will be provided in the future. We are also proud to announce that Perry Industrial Park III, Section 2 Lot 6B has been submitted. We are looking forward to the opportunities this job will bring as its work towards completion continues. Looking forward, we have several prospective jobs coming our way for the fall.

IECI is excited at the opportunities presented at Whitestown Crossing. Preliminary designs have begun with many interested parties vying for a spot at the property. and we are seeing a great opportunity for growth and development to the area. IECI is also proud to announce the addition of a project just a few miles southeast. IECI has been taken on to resolve an issue for Watermark Apartments. In addition, the Lancashire project in Westfield continues to grow in progress towards construction, as well as the addition of the Harmony Central Park project. IECI has begun preliminary concept plans for the site and will be continuing the project into its completion.

IECI is proud to announce the addition of the Walter Payton Crane Project. This job is scheduled for design this summer and construction this fall. Walter Payton Crane began preliminary discussions in 2016 and is now underway for the beginning stages of plan design and then approval. Changes are underway along the I-65 interchange at Whitestown Crossing offering a new look as construction takes place. Along with this renewed addition are several projects in our own backyard which are further along in the planning stages at Whitestown Crossing. On the west side of SR 267, Whitestown Business Park’s construction is now under way for the infrastructure and phase I building being 450,000 sft. This project will spur more growth.

Spring has brought busy times for IECI this year with multiple jobs in the surrounding area. We are excited to announce two new jobs with Andy Mohr Automotive, one which is a continuation for the Avon Automotive Lot 2 project made up of 4.3 acres and one for an expansion of Nissan which consists of a 20.6 thousand square foot addition. Both projects are located in the heart of Avon, IN. IECI is also working on the Lancashire project in Westfield,IN which includes 67 single family lots and 43 town homes, as well as the Amazon Self Storage project which includes a 7.1 thousand square foot building, located in Brownsburg, IN. IECI is looking forward to future jobs already booked for this summer as we continue to grow and improve!

IECI is currently wrapping up the jobs in the Maple Grove Commercial Subdivision in Whitestown, IN while the Whitestown Business Park and Whitestown Crossing projects are continuing as expected. A new section for the Harmony Subdivision is in preparation for submittal, and many proposals have been submitted for work in the near future. The spring is off to a good start! 

Final details of the Maple Grove Commercial subdivision; Heartland Dental, KLC Realty and Diversified Properties buildings are being concluded. IECI is currently responding to Whitestown Technical Advisory Committee comments for all three projects prior to final construction plans on the December 12th hearing before the town planning commission. Ground was broken for the fourth and final building in the subdivision, Rainbow Daycare, before Thanksgiving. IECI has worked throughout 2016 on the details of the proposed 257 units of multi-family dwellings near 146th Street and Ditch Road in Westfield, IN. The plans continue to move forward with a target of completing construction plans for submittal to the city before the end of the year. The team is targeting a spring 2017 ground breaking.

IECI has been selected by the Town of Brownsburg to provide site development design services on an exciting new effort on the near north side of downtown. The town has acquired approximately 30 acres for the first phase around the former St. Malachy Church and parish school in Brownsburg, IN. This area, temporarily referred to as the “Brownsburg Town Green,” is envisioned to be a central hub including multi-family housing, commercial establishments, and office facilities. IECI has prepared and submitted the primary plat and is anticipating town direction to commence forward with site design soon.
