Should You Move Forward or Move On?
As civil engineering consultants, Innovative understands the hopes and dreams clients have for each idea they conjure up, but dreams must be rooted in reality. That’s where we come in. Our job is not to be your yes man, but to function as an early warning detection system of sorts. We’ll look at the project from the 30,000-foot level, fleshing out any possible pitfalls and offering alternative suggestions.
CONTACT USEven before we are on a contract basis, Innovative will spend 20 to 30 hours on the proposal studying the prospective piece of land with enough depth and insight to identify the following:
- Zoning requirements
- Planning requirements
- Permit requirements
If all systems are a go, we’ll tell you that, but if we don’t think it will work, we’ll tell you why and offer possible alternatives. Once the feasibility is determined, we can them move on to surveying, land planning, site design, and renderings, if applicable.
Engineering Consulting Firms Establish Ongoing Relationships
Over our years of service in the community, we’ve established ongoing client relationships, often working on successive projects with a client. It’s also not unusual to have a development that takes five to seven years to evolve before it is complete. We listen to our clients and always strive to meet their wishes.
We offer what we like to call “value engineering.”
Engineering consulting firms develop relationships in the community with the various governmental industries. It has been a top priority of ours to maintain and strengthen these relationships because it is just good business sense to be a team player, and it leads to better outcomes for all sides. Over the years, we’ve found that:
- Our projects flow through the design and review processes more quickly
- Our projects have fewer “surprises”
- Our projects have fewer additional costs tacked on
