The temperature may not feel like it, but Spring has sprung! We are running at full throttle already this spring. We have filed for approval for Blue Beacon Truck Wash in Whitestown. The Roundabout at Ditch RD and 171st ST and the 171st ST extension in Westfield will be filed in late March. We have a new project with Best Way Disposal for a transfer station to be located in Lafayette. Midland Town Homes will be filed in late April. Filings for AMH Development will begin in late April.

On a personal level, Ross Hill has moved onto a new phase in his life. We wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors. Please welcome Willard Wilson to our survey team as a new survey party chief. Our Brownsburg High School intern, Cole Teany, has been awarded a scholarship to the Purdue School of Engineering. Congratulations Cole, study hard. Klay Kondy is also back in the saddle again after his ankle surgery and recovery. It is nice to have him back just in time for the construction staking season to begin. Welcome back Klay!

We are still looking to fill positions in the Survey Department and our front office. We are hoping to hire field crew support members. We are especially interested in entry level field technicians. We need an experienced full-time Survey CAD Technician to bring field data into our workflow for design and construction staking. This position requires experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. We also have a part-time position for an administrative assistant to help with keeping our office running smoothly. This position requires experience in office organization, Microsoft Office applications, jurisdictional permitting, and project workflow. If you know of anyone who would like to join our team, please have them contact Jerry Kittle.
